Spanish Youth Mental Health First Aid

This free training prepares adults to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges in young people ages 12–25, including those who may be in crisis. It is especially valuable for parents, caregivers, educators, school staff, and anyone who works with or cares for young adults.

Participants will learn:

• Common mental health challenges facing youth today

• Key stages of adolescent development

• A practical, 5-step action plan for supporting young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations

Topics include: Anxiety, depression, substance use, psychosis-related disorders, ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders, and eating disorders.
