Supporting People with HIV and Opioid Use Disorder Across The HIV Care Continuum

This program is in collaboration with the Opioid Response Network. This training will address evidence-based strategies for how to support people with HIV and Opioid Use Disorder across the HIV care continuum. 

By the end of this presentation, the participants will be able to:

  • Examine the prevalence of opioid use disorder (OUD) amongst people with HIV across the United States

  • Explain how individuals with co-occurring OUD move across the HIV Care continuum

  • Discuss the barriers to success moving HIV-positive patients with OUD across the HIV care continuum

  • Discuss best practices and systemic interventions to maximize the success of helping individuals with OUD across the HIV care continuum
